If your a bit on a budget and cannot afford to remodel your bathroom, a few new touches can really give it a quick update. I wish I had taken a few before pictures for you to see what a difference was made. I found a glittered perfume bottle canvas at Ross and decided to design my new bathroom look around that. A new shower curtain & towels are always good idea for just a basic facelift. I went a little further and bought new crystal knobs for the cabinets and new glass light shades that brightened up the bathroom since they are clear.
I was trying to go for a more sophisticated look and figured you cannot go wrong with black and white. So I decided to move forward with a black and white stripped curtain. I found an extremely cheap one on Amazon and it’s decent, the only downside was that it took a little long to arrive. Since I changed my cabinet knobs to clear, I found some similar shower curtain hooks as well. My towels are from Target and I added some curtain holdbacks to them. They are typically used for regular curtains, not in restrooms on towels. But I found an image once on Pinterest and I really thought it gave it a nice touch and went with it, and I was happy with the end result. I found them on Amazon as well.
Lastly, the small counter tray that I placed my lotion, mouthwash and container for Q-tips. I also bought new bath rugs, one black pain and one dark grey pair. Just easier for me once I clean the restroom, I swap them out so I have time to wash them and not have a bare floor. For less than $100 I was able to change the entire look of my bathroom and my entire family was happy. Hope you enjoy and find inspiration for your restroom on a budget.
